As an Owner, Practice Manager, and Educational Consultant at A Second Wind Counseling, Jamie Sanchez brings over 15 years of executive leadership, human resources, higher education administration, and organizational management experience to our Downtown Kissimmee practice.
While our clinical team focuses on providing transformative mental health therapy, Jamie leads the operational heart of the practice—ensuring that every client touchpoint is met with professionalism, warmth, and administrative excellence. In addition to guiding practice development, Jamie spearheads our non-clinical Educational & Career Consulting Services, offering specialized higher education and post-secondary strategy for students and families.
A Background Rooted in Institutional Leadership
Jamie holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from Rollins College. Prior to co-founding A Second Wind Counseling, she built a distinguished career leading large-scale administrative operations, marketing strategies, and international programs across prominent Central Florida institutions, including the University of Central Florida (UCF), Valencia College, Rollins College, and City of Life Christian Academy.
Her extensive background in higher education administration and global student services cultivated a lifelong commitment to cultural competence, compliance, and organizational excellence. Fluent in English and Spanish, Jamie ensures that our practice remains an accessible, culturally-informed, and welcoming environment for Central Florida's diverse community.
